1. Murabaha Financing Corporate/Individuals: Facility is to finance for purchase of goods both for working capital and fixed assets
2. LC Murabha for Corporate/Individuals - Facility is to finance goods and equipment bought through LC mechanism to traders, Manufacturers ,Contractors & others
3. Ijarah Financing Corporate/Individuals: Facility is to finance for purchase of Real Estate Property either income producing or non-income producing through Ijarah arrangement.
4. Investment Wakala for Corporate/Individuals - The purpose of this product is to meet the financing needs of the Bank’s customers, to finance different Shariaá compliant lines of business activities. The product will be applicable only if no other financing product can meet the customer’s requirement.
5. Flexible Financing- Investment Wakala – This product is available both for Corporate & Non-Corporate customers ( not Individual) . This product is Sharia approved and is akin to “ Overdraft facility” of conventional Bank
6. Letter of Guarantees :
i. LG Tender – This is issued in the initial bid stage of the contract.
ii. LG Performance – This is issued in favor of contract owner to compensate him if the contractor does not perform the contract in accordance with contract.
iii. LG Advance Payment – This is issued to get advance payment by the contactor from contract owner.
iv. LG Retention – Usually, the contract owner holds a certain percentage of each progress payment to cover the maintenance cost for the project. By the end of the contract, the contractor can request the owner to release this amount against retention LG.
v. KIB also offer other LG’s such as purchase, labor and other acceptable purposes.
7. Letter of Credits :
i. Usance LC – Payment to the seller is made after certain period (as defined in LC ) after the documents are submitted .
ii. Payment at Sight LC – Payment is made to the seller immediately after the required documents have been submitted.
iii. Stand-by LC – This LC is closer to the bank guarantee. The Bank will honor the LC when the Buyer fails to fulfill payment liabilities to Seller.
