KIB sponsors Al-Kharafi Activity Kids Center open day

Kuwait, __ March 2019: Under the umbrella of its leading social responsibility program, Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently sponsored an open day for Al-Kharafi Activity Kids Center; the region’s first-of-its-kind center dedicated to the development and well-being of disabled children and youth.
Held under the patronage of the Kuwait Foundation for Disabled Children, the event aimed at advocating the rights of persons with disabilities, as well as spreading happiness and joy amongst them on this joyous occasion. The event took was attended by children of all ages and their parents, as well various local schools.
The open day featured an array of activities, including live entertainment, games, and competitions for children of all ages. The Bank also distributed a number of gifts amongst the children to spread joy and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
On this occasion, Senior Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at KIB, Nawaf Najia, said: “We are partners and members of the community; a ‘Bank for Life’. At KIB, we believe that is our social duty to support all members of the local community, particularly children with disabilities. For this reason, we continue to seize every opportunity to support them through various means, promoting their rights and inclusion in the community – and celebrating with them on special occasions.”
It is worth noting that KIB’s leading social responsibility program features a wide range of initiatives that serve people with disabilities. Additionally, the Bank provides easily accessible banking services, and accordingly redesigned six of its branches in order to accommodate the needs of customers with special needs, including those who are visually impaired and deaf.
